"This past week my two year old came down with quite a bad case of chickenpox so I bought calamine lotion and baking soda - and Fred told me to use Apis Mellifera. Well, I admit, I have been somewhat of a sceptic (it is just my nature) and the last thing I want is my little girl to get scars from scratching. I tried the Apis first and thought that at the first sight of an itch, I would switch.
We are now into day ten of the pox and NOT ONE ITCH!! She has some quite angry spots but they don't seem to bother her at all. I apply the cream two times a day - and the funny thing is that even the spots on her head don't itch, and I haven't put the cream on them!
I don't know what is in that stuff - but it works on chicken pox. Thanks."
